In the words of Popeye, “That’s all I can stands, ’cause I can’t stands no more!”
To start my 2021, I have decided that I am withdrawing any personal or business memberships from the MLS and NAR. I have already cancelled 2 of my MLS memberships with 1 more to go.
Personally, I feel the MLS and NAR policies are not in the best interest of consumers. There are more and more articles, like this recent Inman article, involving collusion, steering, etc.
It’s disgusting and people should be embarrassed. I certainly am. We are in the era of the consumer. Do you get it? Because if you don’t expect to get left behind.
Our platforms are built on transparency. It’s what the consumer demands, and quite frankly it is what they should receive. I am so excited to be a part of the next 10 years of real estate. It’s going to be awesome.
